A long pause followed your pleas for the Myme’s life. With a soft, elongated sigh, Malcrux snapped his fingers and freed your Guardian - but not before catching it by its wings. He then astonishes you by giving them a rough pluck, tearing the wings from the poor creature’s back who was only able to scream behind its gag.
He snaps again, this time the gag and chains that bound the myme burst into that colorful dust your rabbit friend used for his creations.
The myme snaps its head in Malcrux’s direction, baring its fangs at him in protest. It wants to say something... it wants so badly to curse him... but it knows that the rabbit could very easily kill it without uttering a single word. You recognize the look in the Myme’s eyes... it loathed Malcrux... and because it couldn’t say so... it fought itself from crying... either out of pain, frustration, or the fact its precious wings were so brutally taken from it.
You can feel Malcrux grinning back at it with mutual contempt, and he decides to finally speak up. “I will return its wings when I know you are able to control your subconscious wish-making.”
“Now go ahead and name your Guardian.”
You look to the Myme who quickly pipes up. Its voice is so broken from holding back tears that you can barely catch what it says.
“I already have a name.”
Looks like you’re faced with a choice. You could either name it despite this, or ask the little guy what its name is and simply call it that.
Malcrux gives you a look of disapproval, but do you really care at this point?
